Consultancy and Training

trainingWe are committed to working with organisations and partnerships to help them to support vulnerable individuals to ensure they do not take the path towards radicalisation. This is complimentary to the Channel process which sits outside the Criminal Justice System and utilises interventions endorsed by the Home Office to support the individual.

We can provide a wide range of consultancy and training to organisations to help carry out their obligations under the Prevent Duty and to understand the Channel process.

The training packages are delivered at a variety of levels to meet the needs and skill set of each individual audience and their respective roles. We will work with the client to agree the appropriate training packages to meet the needs and demands of your organisation.

We provide Home Office accredited WRAP training (but only as part of a wider training package).

Training

We will provide training for your organisational needs to ensure your staff are confident in dealing with what are sensitive issues involving vulnerable individuals.

As part of our training we will provide;

Home Office approved WRAP (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent)

Safeguarding training:

Members of our team are qualified in Safeguarding up to level 3 designated safeguarding lead and can provide train the trainer events to your organisations.

Prevent Risk Management:

We will work with local partnerships and establishments to undertake a review of current practises and Prevent related risks, to translate that intelligence into a local, tailored risk management plan to address the risks identified. In addition, we will review progress at agreed intervals to monitor and report on progress.

Channel Panel Training

We will work closely with local partnerships to establish effective channel arrangements, complimented by training detailing the roles of panel members and channel chairs. We will provide realistic case studies to work through to develop and fine tune local practise ensuring panels are confident and competent in discharging their duties under the Prevent Duty and to ensure compliance with Channel Guidance.

Education establishments, and local authorities

We will provide specific bespoke training for schools, colleges, pupil referral units, and local authorities tailored to meet the expectations of senior leadership teams and commissioners to enable them to be compliant with the challenges set out in the Prevent duty. This will include training to all staff, pupils and students allowing a safe space to discuss and work through the challenges.

Bespoke packages for a variety of audiences tailored to your specific needs, from a basic understanding of Prevent to more complex breakdowns of case studies and scenario based examples.
